The naturally aspirated SUBARU BOXER® 2.4 L 4-cylinder engine incorporates state-of-the-art technology, including direct and port injection, to deliver high-speed performance and exceptional efficiency.
While retaining similar dimensions and weight to its predecessor, this engine boasts increased power and torque at all RPM levels. It produces 228 hp (at 7000 rpm), compared with 205 hp for the previous model, an increase of 11%. Torque has also increased, from 156 lb-ft to 184 lb-ft (at 3700 rpm), marking an improvement of almost 18%. The result is a sports car engine that peaks at 7500 rpm, delivering a mechanical symphony to the ears and lively acceleration for pure driving pleasure.
